In Physics, taught by Mr. Ellis, we have learned about velocity, acceleration, 1-D and 2-D motion, and forces. We are currently studying energy, work, and power. Mr. Ellis has his own website, mrellis.com. Below is a picture he took of us doing a lab with ramps and cars.
At the end of our chapter on 2-D motion, we did a "Über Cliff Problem". Each person in the class had their own set of numbers to work with for this problem, and we were allowed to make up a senario for the problem (we got extra credit for our language class if we wrote it in that language). Another activity that we did was a springs lab. We designed a lab to discover the spring constants of different kinds of springs.
