Science Technical Writing

Class Info

In Science Technical Writing, we learn to improve our writing. We do not do creative writing in this class but, rather, science writing. We learn what words and phrases to use, and what to not use. We also learn basic rules of grammar and how to keep our sentences simple and easy to understand. This is the class in which we learn how to write the research paper that is required for the MSSEF project. Our teacher, Dr. Sumner, has written books in the same writing style as she is teaching us, so she knows a lot about the subject. She is very dedicated to making our writing the best it can become.
