TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF OFFICERS OF NEHA BY CALENDAR DATE

§ Local Organizer for spring meeting works with Executive Secretary and Vice President to plan for fall conference (see document entitled, Responsibilities of Local Organizer
§ President consults with chair of Nominating Committee to make sure slate of candidates for spring meeting election is on track
§ VP submits final program to Executive Secretary and editor of NEHA News by February 1
§ Local Organizer for spring conference submits arrangements to Executive Secretary by February 1

§ Vice President sends nominations for NEHA Graduate Student Prize from fall conference to chair of NEHA Graduate Student Prize Committee
§ Agenda may include: approval of minutes from last Executive Committee meeting, setting of dates for future conferences, identifying sites for future conferences and local organizers, hearing reports from elected officers, hearing reports about activities of committees, approval of appointment of book review editor (if necessary), joint sessions (AHA, OAH)
§ Secretary takes minutes of meeting and distributes them to Executive Committee in a timely way
§
