1977-1981     Matthew's Minstrels, Vassar College, Poughkeepsie, New York

                        Founder and Conductor of 16 voice SATB a cappella jazz group.

                        Prepared and arranged all music, rehearsals and performances.

 

1982-1984    Off-at-Five, Boston, Massachusetts

                        Rehearsal Conductor of 5 voice men's a cappella jazz group.

                        Prepared and arranged music for performances with Manhattan Transfer,

                        Hendrix Singers, and Bobby McFerrin.

 

1985-1988    St. Paul's Cathedral, Worcester, Massachusetts

                        Assistant choral conductor. 

                        Assisted in conducting 24 voice adult choir during services.

 

1993-present  Ethos Ensemble, Worcester, Massachusetts

                        Founder and Conductor of 12 voice men's performance ensemble. 

                        Responsible for all rehearsals, selection of repertoire, and performances.

                        Director of 32 voice adult women’s community chorus.    

                        Responsible for selection of repertoire, rehearsal and 3 yearly performances.

 

1995-1996       ConVivium, Worcester, Massachusetts

                        Co-founder and director of 16 voice professional chorus

                        Responsible for selection of repertoire, rehearsal and production of debut CD.

 

1999-2001       Music Department Head, Doherty Memorial High, Worcester, Massachusetts

                        Prepare 50 voice chorus, 30 voice Madrigal Singers, two Jazz Vocal Ensembles, direct yearly musical and teach AP Music Theory.

 

1999-2001       Director of Choral Activities, Clark University, Worcester, Massachusetts

                        Director of 40 voice chorus, 12 voice chamber ensemble, concert band and teach Music Theory (2 levels).  Voice studio with 4 students per semester.

 

2001-present  Director of Choral Activities, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, Massachusetts

Program, schedule and rehearse 20 yearly concerts with four choral ensembles:  WPI Men’s Glee Club, Alden Voices (women), WPI Festival Chorus (mixed), Vocal Performance Lab (auditioned chamber chorus).  Advise three student a cappella groups (SSAA, TTBB, SATB).  Teach Music Theory (2 levels) and Seminars on Digital Score Preparation, Virtual Choir Technology, Choral Arranging, Sight-reading and Period Performance Practice.  Voice studio with 6 students per semester.  Oversee all administrative personnel within division (librarian, publicity, calendar, duplication and typesetting services).

 

2002-2003       Interim Choral Conductor, College of  the Holy Cross, Worcester, Massachusetts

Programmed, scheduled and rehearsed College Chorus (50 voices) and Chamber Singers (24 voices) in 8 concerts.

 

2003-present  Choral Conductor, The Boston Conservatory, Boston, Massachusetts

                        Director of Women’s Ensemble.  Rehearse and present 4 concerts annually.
