{Empty Set} Presents: Guy Love
December6th, 2011 - 9:00PM in Kinnicutt Hall. We grossed out the audience with some overtly sexual acts done to a kitten who probably didn't deserve them, a rooster who definitely enjoyed them, and a mortal kumbat fighter who totally died from them! Notable scenes: bop-it sextreme, a vampire and franky go on a date, and we finished it off with a round of speed dating with the audience and then went to our middle school dance!

{Empty Set} Presents: So you think you can beat a DNA test?
October4th, 2011 - 8:00 in Kinnicutt Hall. We parodied such popular daytime tv talk shows as Maury and Jerry Springer. Ethyl & Methyl decided they wanted to be on tv and phoned in to almost every show they could get on basic cable. Guests included: backwoods gator 'wrestlers,' Dr. Ruth, an all male love triangle, and seven very patient fathers of six possibly dead children.

{Empty Set} swears that has never happened before!
April 19th, 2011 - 8:00 in Lower Flaud. Directed by appointed interim director Angela Simpson, this show combined pre-written beat elements with on-stage improv battles between Empty Set current members and Empty Set alumni.

{Empty Set} Presents: "Scuttlebutt!"
February 22th, 2011 - 9:00 in Lower Flaud. So heres the thing: Empty Set had an idea for an entirely sketch show, they changed their mind the day before, and they invented a new improv game much like telephone entitled "Scuttlebutt." Notable characters: Three 'membered' Jesus, Barry, Barry's Ass., Herman AKA the kid who can't make animal sounds, silent christopher...

{Empty Set} Presents: "Whose ____ Is It Anyway?"
December 7th, 2010 - 8:00 in Upper Flaud. Empty Set wanted to perform some classic improv games from the show "Whose Line is it Anyway?" but they could only get funding if they allowed themselves to be sponsored by T4K: Tampons for Kids. This involved inserting several commercials advertising T4K's new product lines into the regularly scheduled program.

"Student Comedy Action Team"
March 2nd, 2010 - 8:00 PM in Upper Flaud. For the first time ever, Empty Set performed alongside Guerilla Improv and Kilroy Sketch Comedy in a combined C Term show. The most evil character Kilroy ever created, Dr. Corvik, stole Null Set's improv puppies and started causing havoc across the world. It's up to WPI's Student Comedy Action Team (SCAT) to stop Dr. Corvik and save the day!

"Null Set Goes Behind/ Beyond the Improv Door"
December 12th, 2009 - 8:00 PM in Kinnicutt Hall. Null Set's first ever show started as normal longform improv, until a disgruntled Rick started interrupting and changing scenes, calling on audience participation. Finally a frusterated Lizzie called for an intermission. The second half of the the show provided a never-before-seen behind-the-stage look at the new comedy troupe, as the audience watched the new group as they relaxed backstage while waiting for their turns onstage. That is, until Rick stole a prototype reality bomb from a scene, brought it backstage, and set it off as a last attempt to destroy Null Set. The bomb set everything back to normal- all traces of Null Set were erased. However, the group seems to have gained some interesting abilities...

"Empty Set Presents Its A Term Show: Now In A Term!"
October 8th, 2009 - 8:00 PM in Kinnicutt Hall. Empty Set was excited to present an A Term show in A Term for the first time in 3 years. However, things went quickly south when their two newest members, Greg and Angela, quit after an embarrassing game of Confessions. Although the director, Rick, tried everything he could to save the show, the rest of Empty Set quickly deserted to join Greg and Angela in their new rival comedy group, Null Set. When only Rick and Empty Set's producer, Lizzie, remained, she revealed that not only was she already part of Null Set, but she had actually founded Null Set because she was fed up with Rick and Empty Set. Null Set finished up the show, proving that it was the more awesome group, and even convinced Rick to join in the end.

New Student Orientation Show
August 25th, 2009 - 8:00 PM in Kinnicutt Hall. Empty Set performed for the new freshmen, alongside Guerilla Improv and Kilroy Sketch Comedy. "Empty Set Activates the Chaos Engine"
April 27th, 2009 - 8:00 PM in Kinnicutt Hall. Empty Set developed a serious attention deficit, and played its way through an awesome improv game line up that culminated in the activation of the "chaos engine"; that's where the same scene was run, but members started to disappear and the game of the scene kept changing until only our fearless leader remained. He monologued us home, and paid off the deficit with "a day in the life".

"The Ballad of French Fry McGillicudy's"
March 21st, 2009 - 8:00 PM in Riley Commons. When Seamus McGillicuddy passed away, he left his whole fortune and restaurant to his son Morgan, who wanted nothing to do with it. But as much as Morgan tried to escape his fast-food heritage, he found himself working with a team of unlikely friends to get back the "yummy" (the essence of the FFMcG's popularity) from rival Lenardo Gibbons, and rebuilt the franchise.

"The Galleria"
December 9th, 2008 - 8:00 PM in Riley Commons. "The Empty Canvas Art Conservatory" held its yearly art exhibition, judged by two acclaimed critics. There were light refreshments and each artist had something hiding up his or her sleeve. The incorrigible Dr. Scorgiono stole the art of others and created one final masterpiece out of them, in the shape of the { }.
