Water Vapor Property Calculator

This tool calculates thermophysical properties of water vapor for 380K < T < 850K.

About

The thermophysical properties of water vapor are calculated from best-fit curves for a data set of 380K to 850K in the SFPE Handbook of Fire Protection Engineering 2nd Edition Table B-2. Therefore, the property information is valid in the range of 380K to 850K. Plots of the data set with the best-fit curve, the equation of the best-fit curve and it's R2 value, and error analysis of the curve fit with respect the measured values have been performed.
Temperature: K
Density = kg/m3
Specific heat = Ws/kgK
Thermal conductivity = W/mK
