Subject: Passports
The following directions were taken from the IGSD, with additions by Ken.

How to get your passport:

  1. Go to MAIL BOXES ETC., located at 201 Park Avenue (across from Price Chopper Supermarket) to have your passport photos taken. Show your WPI id to get the special rate of $5.95 + tax ($6.25 total) for these photos.
  2. Pick up a passport application form from the U.S. Post Office, MAIL BOXES ETC., or download from http://travel.state.gov/download_applications.html.
  3. Bring the completed form, photos, copy of your birth certificate (long form, obtained from City Hall of the town of your birth), and cash, check, or money order ($65) to the Post Office; or, mail it to 4 E Central Street, Worcester, MA 01605.

Once you get your passport,
How WPI Students can get reimbursement:

  1. Go to the IGSD, in the Project Center Building. Ask for a passport reimbursement form and fill out all information requested. Attach a copy of your passport, original receipt or canceled check for your passport fee and pictures*. Submit this to Gail Gormley in the IGSD, Project Center.
  2. Your reimbursement check will be sent to the address specified on your form.

* For photos, WPI will reimburse only the amount charged by MAIL BOXES, ETC. ($5.95 + tax = $6.25)
