Under the brilliant direction of Robert Redford, Steve Pressfield's mystical novel comes alive. Matt Damon stars as Rannulph Junuh, a championship golfer who returns disillusioned with life from World War I. Adele Invergordon, once the love of Junuh's life, organises a once in a lifetime golf tournament in an effort to save her father's golf resort. Junuh reluctantly agrees to play in the tournament against the greatest golfers of the day. He finds the game futile until his mysterious caddy, Bagger Vance (Will Smith) teaches him the secret of the mystical golf stroke which turns out also to be the secret to mastering any challenge in life. It is clear that Bagger Vance is not entirely of this world and golf is a game which must be played on a higher mental plane than any other.

Billy Elliot
Featuring: Julie Walters, Gary Lewis, Jamie Bell, Jamie Draven
The life of 11-year old Billy Elliott is forever changed one day when he stumbles upon a ballet class during his weekly boxing lesson. Before long he finds himself attending dance lessons, demonstrating the kind of raw talent seldom seen by his exacting instructor, Mrs. Wilkinson. Billy tries to keep his ballet classes a secret from his father and brother, who are striking coal miners struggling to keep food on the table. Their pent up frustrations explode when they discover Billy has been squandering his boxing money on less than manly pursuits. Mrs. Wilkinson encourages Billy to try out for the Royal Ballet School in London, but Billy is torn between his responsibility to his family and to the gift with which he has been blessed.
