Below is a letter to John
Delorey from Richard Pittman of the Concord Orchestrea praising
our performance with them in January.
Dear John,
This is a belated note of thanks to you and the WPI Glee
Club for your excellent performances with the Concord Orchestra
last weekend. It was a great pleasure to work with you and
the men in your Glee Club. I greatly enjoyed the vocal ability
of the Glee Club and their serious, professional attitude.
I was very happy with the Glee Club’s singing on
both evenings. The orchestra had a particularly good night
on Saturday and gave a fine performance. The Glee Club’s
part was a consummate conclusion to that performance.
Please pass on my thanks and warm regards to the Glee club.
I greatly appreciate their trips to Concord to join us in
the Liszt. Bravo to you for your excellent preparation and
bravi to the men in the Glee Club.
With warmest regards and many thanks.
