Willkommen! Welcome!

The Deutschklub Regulars at the Campus Center (2005/06)
Front: Kimberly Jung, Jessica McAlear; Back: Jan Christian Thomas,
Thorsten Braun, Hauke Dämpfling, Gunnar Gaubatz, Wolfgang Apel

The "Deutschklub", or German Club, is just that. A group of people that convenes somewhat regularly and speaks German. Not all of them are German. There are Austrians, Belgians, Swiss and of course, the general English-speakers who happened to pick German up from somewhere. Everyone is welcome to attend any and all of the events.

You can easily reach us at our club e-mail address, germanexecs@wpi.edu. Stay in touch with our mailing list - just send us an e-mail and we will add you to the mailing list.

Deutsch Wir sprechen natürlich alle Deutsch! Diese Seite ist auf Englisch, damit wir ein möglichst grosses Publikum erreichen können. Schreibt uns einfach mal!

Come and enjoy good food and the company of Germans and German speakers! The Stammtisch ("regular's round") takes place once or twice a term either at the Goat's Head or Sole Proprietor during the evenings. If you want to stay for a meal or just stop by to say hello, feel free. Everyone is welcome - we speak both English and German.

Pleas see our schedule for the dates.

Tutoring - on request

The Deutschklub offers its help to the WPI community with tutoring for students taking German classes. Just send us an e-mail and we can arrange something!

Cultural Events

We also have various cultural events during the year, which usually involve good food, German movies, and lots of fun! We also participate in the ISC Cultural Festival and International Dinner every year. Check out the Miscellaneous section below for pictures of past events.

* Outside Events

Outside events are events that are not necessarily sponsored and/or organized by the German Club, but we announce them to our members because they are probably of interest. If these events are off-campus, you can email the German Club if you would like to or are planning to go there so we can match you up with others who would also like to go.
