Usually, people introduce themselves with a generic:
Hello, my name is Eva Rose Jaskoviak and I am a junior at The Academy of Mathematics and Science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (also known as Mass Academy or MAMS).
If they were trying to sound cool, they would say something along the lines of:
Heyy, I'm Eva, a junior at Mass Academy, and you're on my webpage!
But I'm not generic, nor do I try to sound cool or even sophisticated. This is supposed to be an "About Me" page, and I'm not going to give you a false impression of myself. I am eccentric, funny, smart, emotional, sensitive, kind, crazy, patient, whimsical, and random. Accordingly, my introduction should sound a bit like this:
Hi, my name is Eva, or if you'd like, you can call me HippieChick--for some reason, everyone at this school does.
I love animals--puppies especially. Unfortunately, puppies only remain that way for so long, so I own two small dogs: J.J., 3, is a rugged, asymmetrical Jack Russell Terrier, and Ocea, 13, is a graying, black, toy poodle.
I also have a strange obsession with insects and bugs. I can't explain it. One day I saw a bug and said to myself: "That is really cool. I wonder what it looks like close up." Ever since then, I'm the girl people turn to when there's a bug crawling around.
Solving puzzles is my pass-time hobby. The website I usually visit in between homework assignments to play games and solve puzzles is AddictingGames.com .
