Spanish
In Spanish class, we learn the language primarily through speaking it. This is very different from a traditional spanish class,
because instead of spending our time memorizing vocabulary lists and ending charts, we speak and listen to spanish
and learn the language is a more natural way, like the way we learned english. This results in better retention
and speaking skills. The links below are two examples of work that I have done for Spanish class so far this year.
The first one is summary, written in spanish of a spanish book we read earlier in the year, and the second one is
a short description of a painting by a famous spanish artist, Pablo Picasso. The pokemon link is a homework assignment that we
completed after watching the first episode of pokemon in spanish in class. We answered a few questions about the characters
and plot of the cartoon. Below that is a link to the script for our final video project. We spent a lot of class time working
on these projects, and learned how to better speak and prnounce spanish. The last link is an assignment in which we wrote directions
to a building on WPI campus in spanish. My directions tell how to get to the Atwater-Kent Laboratory.
