Responsibilities

As administrator of the Voyager integrated library system, Don is responsible for its management and support and is the primary liaison to the system vendor. He also administers the library's digital collection management system, federated search tool (QuickFind) and link resolver (FullTextFinder). In addition, he manages the licensing and implementation of many of the library's electronic databases and resources, such as EBSCOhost, Engineering Village, FirstSearch, Gale, SciFinder Scholar, and Web of Science. He acts as a resource for library staff and users on these systems; consults with CCC and other IT Division staff on systems-related questions; and serves as the library's liaison to several consortia on database and electronic resource issues. Don also is an IT liaison to the Computer Science and Physics departments.
