My name is
Deidre Di Liddo and I attend
Mass Academy of Math and Science. My sending school was Bartlett High School in Webster, Ma.
I have lived in the same place my whole life, and have never switched schools. It took a lot to adjust to MAMS, but it is definitely worth it. I was very
involved with my former school. During my freshman year, student council was extremely important to me. I was elected vice president of my class, and
on top of that I participated in sports and math team. I earned varsity letters in cheerleading, indoor track, and outdoor track. During my sophomore year,
I no longer participated in sports. I was elected secretary of my student council as a whole, and spent most of my time working with my fellow officers.
I live in a decent sized house with my dad, Mike. My sister
Vickie
lived with us up until the beginning of September. She currently attends Bridgewater State University and is studying to be an English Teacher.
Her being gone is yet another adjustment that I have to become accustomed to because I'm used to having her around. Now I don't have anyone to drive
me whereever I want to go.
I am currently a cheerleader at my former high school and I love it. I cheer at football games as well as competition. Our
competitions will begin in October and continue until we are eliminated, or qualify for nationals, which will be held in February at Disney. I also
enjoy exercise very much and I go to the gym every day. Although, I have found that I do not have as much time anymore. I go whenever I can, even if it
means putting off my homework until later (which isn't usually a good idea.)
Whenever I'm not at school, or at the gym, I spend my free time with my friends or watching the boys' varsity soccer games.
I've noticed that I spend more time with my best friend
Marisa than I do with anyone else, including my own family. She's also my gym buddy (which accounts
for a lot of the time I spend with her). When we're not at the gym, we're doing some crazy thing that we probably shouldn't be doing.
