Physics is deffinetely a difficult class if you have never taken physics before. Mr. Ellis prefers to have us learn concepts on our own, rather than lecture. For almost every chapter we have a few labs, challenging end of chapter problems, and usually an extra complicated "uber" problem! One lab we completed was about springs, springs and the spring constant. All of our labs are done with partners but each partner is required to complete their own right-up. A second lab we did with springs was called the bungee lab. It was alot like the spring lab except much harder. An example of an uber problem was the uber cliff problem, which was about two-dimensional motion. This particular uber problem was suprisingly not too difficult. One really fun activity we did was the mini labs about sound. Each group completed two mini labs investigating concepts like period, frequency and oscillation. A really challenge lab we did was a lab about centripetal acceleration. The lab report was so difficult to write that everyone was required to rewrite it.
