Math

Math is an interesting, but challenging class taught by Mr. Barys. In the beginnign of the year, we learned how to use Mathematica and Geometer's Sketchpad. Since then, we have learned many things, the most important of which were functions and transformations. More recently, we worked with recursive functions: both discrete dynamical systems and exponential functions. Every once in a while, we will be assigned a Problem of the Week, which is usually a challenging puzzle or problem that can be solved using math.

This is the first POW, or Problem of the Week, that I did for math class.

This is another POW that I did.

This is the POF (Problem of the Fortnight. It was slightly more labor intensive than a POW.

This POW deals with high-low differences.

This was my favorite POW.

This is the slide show from teh presentation Remy Jette, Nate Bricault, and I gave on discrete dynamical systems.
