Academics
My favorite academic subjects are math and chemistry, and my favorite math class I’ve taken is AP Statistics. In addition, I started doing robotics at my sending school, and I am now on the Mass Academy robotics team. I am also a part of the math team and crochet club here at MAMS.

Leisure
When I have time, I love to hang out with my friends and listen to music. Some of my favorite artists are Billie Eilish, The Neighbourhood, and Arctic Monkeys. I also love to watch shows and movies. Some of my favorite shows are You, Shameless, and Bridgerton. I also love to read, and my favorite book series is Harry Potter.

Camp
For the past 4 summers, I have been attending a sleepaway camp in New Hampshire. This past summer, I entered the leadership division and was a Leader Corps member. It was a great opportunity, and camp is one of my favorite places to be. I do activities such as swimming, crafts, sports, team building, etc., and I gain many new skills and perspectives each year.

Dance
A very significant aspect of my life is dance. I have been dancing since I was three years old, and it has become an amazing source of exercise, opportunities, and friendships. I have been dancing in the Nutcracker since I was 6 years old, and some of my favorite roles I’ve played are Clara, the Snow Queen, and Arabian Coffee. I have performed in other shows such as Sleeping Beauty, and have also been a competitive dancer since I was 8 years old. Here is my studio's website!

Advice
Although my time at Mass Academy has just started, the year so far has been an amazing experience. The academics are very high-level and they push you outside of your comfort zone in an extremely beneficial way. Also, it is simply a lovely community with incredible people. For these reasons, I would suggest that if you feel like Mass Academy could be the right place for you, apply! It is such a special opportunity; take advantage of it.
