Spanish is taught by Mrs. Wildfong. In class we frequently read books and write summaries of what we read. One book we read during term A was El Sueño de Linda.
Another assignment we had during A term was to create a comic strip that had something to do about the school. My comic strip was me and two classmates in Spanish class talking about my neighborhood cat, which has been an ongoing joke at the Academy.
We also had to write about our dream house, describing what it would be like and who would live there.
For Cinco de Mayo we had to chose a spanish food, write the recipe for it, and then cook it. I chose to cook black beans and rice from Cuba.
In my spanish class, we had to record a spanish infomercial in groups of four. First we had to write the script and then we had to record the video.
