Physics is taught by Mr. Ellis. In physics we create our own labs to prove different equations. One of the labs I created was a lab to prove an equation with acceleration, The Super Duper Acceleration Lab.

Another lab was a ball toss lab. We had to record video of two-dimensional motion and collect data from the video and analyze the path of the ball.

We also had to do a lab about centripetal acceleration. We attached a small rubber stopper to a string and swung it above our heads and recorded the time.

During our unit on waves, we completed a wave mini-lab where we went to several different stations and investigated different things about waves and wrote up data on two of the stations.

In Physics for most chapters we do an uber problem which is a larger, more complex problem that employs the concepts that we learned that chapter. For chapter two on one dimensional motion we did an uber problem titled Hamster Huey.
