What are my options after graduation?

With an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering, you can pursue a career or further your education by earning an advanced degree. You can get a Masters of Science with is thesis based or a Masters of Engineering which is viewed as a good technical degree. You can also earn a PhD, which is useful if you want to do research. Medical school is also an option for BME students. WPI's undergraduate BME program is a great major for pre-med studies.

What can I do with a degree in Biomedical Engineering?

Where do Biomedical Engineers work?

Biomedical engineers can work at hospitals, at universities doing research or teaching, at other medical or research institutions and at companies that develop products.

Where should I look for jobs?

Medzilla, MassMEDIC, Massachusetts Biotechnology Council and BMEnet are all good job search databases specifically targeted for biology-related fields.

Monster , Indeed and Careerbuilder are other sites that often have BME job postings.
