Mentor/Mentee Program

The goal of the mentor/mentee program is to have members help one another and build strong relationships with other BMEs. Often as underclassmen, BME students need help and guidance; this is where the upperclassmen BMES members step in. While we all have advisors, they're often very busy, haven't been in the same position a few years ago and won't give you the same advice a fellow student will. Your mentor can help you pick classes, professors, get a step up on applying to your next summer internship or however you may need help as a BME.

This doesn't mean that the upperclassmen don't have questions too! There are many BMES members that are planning on going to grad school, and we'll pair you up with a graduate student who can help you with applications, interviews and more.

Ok. But how do I join?

To join the Mentor/Mentee program, the protocol has changed with the introduction of the BMES myWPI site. As this program is exclusively for members, only those with access will be able to join. Members will be notified when sign ups become available.
