The GSA is the Bisexual, Lesbian, Gay, and Transgender Alliance at WPI. We are a social and support group for GLBT and straight friends in the WPI community. We hold meetings semiweekly and sponsor events such as films, shows and dances throughout the year.
Pride Dinner - 5:30pm, April 3rd

Officers - We also need new officers for next year! Elections will be held sometime in D-term most likely. Show up and let us know you're interested.
We will have open nominiations starting this week. If you can't make the meeting, send us an email with your nomination.

Coming Out Day - October 11, 2008

Come out and play games.
LGBT Coming Out Day Breakfast - Friday, October 10, 2008 from 8:30am - 10am - Presented by the Office of Women's Programs (but you don't have to be female to attend).
The breakfast is free, but please RSVP with womens-programs
@wpi.edu. There will also be a speaker from NYU, addressing the challenges of coming out on a college campus.
Activities Fair - Wednesday, August 27th, 2008 from 3:15 until 5:15pm. Come say hi!
Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgender Alliance Reception - Wednesday, August 27th, 2008 from 4:30 to 5:30pm. Located in the Mid-Century Room. Go upstairs after you enter the Campus Center, and you should be able to find it.
Gender Bender Ball - Saturday, April 5th, 2008 - Presented by BiLaGa and the SDC
Cost: $2 for non-undergraduates, and a suggested donation of $2 for undergraduates
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend the steering committee meetings.

Look for SafeZone stickers around campus (like the sticker on the right). These stickers designate people who have gone through the SafeZone training and are comfortable enough to talk with students about being GLBT.
