This site is devoted to uncovering the most popular Facebook scams by explaining how they are carried out and how to protect yourself against them. Click on one of the topics in the menu on the left side of this page to see its explanation.

How to use this site

The most obvious way to use this site is to read the articles I post, but the articles come along with more than just text. They will usually include some sort of a summary section, some links to other sites related to the subject, as well as some tooltips, which will display more information when hovered over with the mouse. Tooltips are underlined with a dashed line, like this.

Whatever you decide to look at, be sure to have an understanding of how these scams are carried out and how best to avoid them.

Suggestions

I'm always open to suggestions about how this site can be improved, from content to appearance. I certainly don't know about every last scam or lie on Facebook, so if there's something I've missed that you feel is important enough to be covered here, be sure to suggest it on the Facebook Scams Page.
