I have grown so much this year in computer science. When I began my education at Mass Academy, I did not have any formal understanding of the topic. Of course, I was very proficient in basic computer skills and I knew about computer hardware, but I did not have any software experience. In the beginning, I feel that labs did not challenge my problem solving abilities: I understood data definitions, and I didn't struggle with recursion or graphics. Towards the end of the year, I had a lot of fun with computer science because I was challenged to produce multiple interactive games. In order to produce such games, I needed to define complex functions. It is this process that educated me to be a better programmer.
