This section contains basic information on the designs that we came up with during the design process. We initially had trouble deciding how we could best aid Xaniell; however, after meeting Xaniell and talking to his teacher, we decided to focus on helping him with his transportation problem. Because he already had a heavy-duty wheelchair for outdoor travel, we decided to make a small ground-based "support chair" for him to use in school and home.
