I am currently a Senior at the Massachusetts Academy of Math and Science. It is different from traditional schools in many ways. One major difference is the environment: the academy is a place where the students actually want to learn. Another difference is the size of the class. The academy accepted only about 45 students last year. Every student had to get references, write a paper, and take a test to gain admittance to the school.
