STW- My favorite part of this class was the Nature writing. I wrote about "the bridge of Tranquility". A place where you can sit relax and view the life cycles of the world. Where you can hear the birds sing and see baby ducks grow and play follow the leader with their mother. As the turtles in the lake,weave in and out of the lily pads.
Oh my god!! SO my favorite project in this class EVER! we had to make a book forSTW. I worked with Joe M. We created a book on frogs and its amazing!!! We photo shopped the pictures and gathers a ton of interesting thoughts! The book was the bound for us.
RS- My research seminar project was on Variations of Color Perception. The question I asked was... How does the brightness of color in each affect human color perception? What I did for the project was split the vision field in half using my computer and a foam divider. Then I set up a PowerPoint presentation of 21 slides to display different brightness's for red, green, and blue slides. After all these were set up i tested 250 people! Using statistics i determined that males see the same as females and age does is not an effect. People with glasses perceive better than people without glasses. An interesting finding was that people with brown and blue eyes perceive color than people with green and hazel eyes. And that is the basics to my research seminar project! I went to Regionals and placed third. Then I moved on to States where i took 2nd Place and I won a cash reward of $1000. Thanks to EMC^2
