Physics

Physics at Mass Academy is called "Advanced Inquiry Physics", and is taught by Mr. Ellis. I really like this class. In it, we delve really deeply into some major physics concepts and really learn how they work. We are expected to create our own labs, rather than just perform predesigned ones. Right now, we are learning about velocity, acceleration, and vectors. The course is quite challenging, but it is very rewarding when we solve a difficult problem.

In this class, we have a major "uber problem" for every chapter which we complete. Two that we have done were Hamster Huey and this one on projectile motion.

We also do a lot of labs in this class. One example is the bungee lag , which was a formal lab write-up. We also did the conservation lab and the momentum lab , both of which were less formal write-ups.
