You can become a part of the WPI-ASCE community by joining the ASCE. The
American Society of Civil Engineeers (ASCE) formed in 1852, is the oldest
engineering society in the United States. The ASCE has a national
membership of over 115,000 professional members and over 15,000 student
members. The ASCE seeks to improve the quality of engineering around the
globe by advancing professional knowledge and improving the practice of
civil engineering.
Today's civil engineering students are the architects that will shape the
world in the future. Becoming a member of the ASCE national organization
