Welcome!
Welcome to my website! My name is
Adrika Moulik. I am a current junior at Massachusetts Academy of Math and
Science (MAMS). My sending school is Wachusett Regional High School.
I was born in California, moved to other places like Minnesota,
Canada, and Vermont, and now I live in Holden MA. I live with my
mother, father, and brother.
Extracurriculars
- Math Team: In 10th grade, I was apart of my school's varsity math team. I competed in many meets.
- Jazz Choir and Chamber Choir: During freshman and sophomore year, I was apart of Honors Chamber Choir and Honors Jazz Choir. These choirs were audition based and we traveled to Disney World to perform.
- Mock Trial: I was an avid member of Mock Trial where I was a mock lawyer and consistently scored around 8/10 points.
- Robotics: I am currently apart of the FRC190 Robotics Team at WPI where I do programming.
- CAD Club: I am currently apart of CAD club where I am able to design objects for 3D Printing.
- Science Olympiad (WIDI, Anatomy and Physiology): I participated in Science Olympiad during 10th grade. My favorite event was Write it Do it (WIDI) as I was able to be in a team with one of my friends and we bonded well. I also did Anatomy and Physiology.
- Science Seminar: I was apart of Science Seminar in 9th and 10th grade, where I got advice for my science fair project and got to see many presentations from well educated researchers.
- Science Fair (9th and 10th): I did Science Fair in 9th and 10th grade and I really enjoyed presenting my projects to the judges as it was a good experience.
Hobbies
- Singing (Western Classical and Indian Classical): I have
been singing since I was 5 years old and I am currently in a
teen-band called Chutney. We perform a blend of Hindi, English, and
Bengali music. We recently had our first concert!
- Piano: I have been taking piano lessons for the past year,
and I recently performed "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" while singing. I
enjoy piano because there’s a process/method to it and it’s like
math in many ways.
- Reading: I have read a lot of books, from mystery to
romance, and my favorite book now is The Naturals. I read all four
books this past summer and it was extremely interesting. I highly
recommend it to all mystery readers!
- Spend time with my family and friends: I like to go on trips
with my family and hang out with my friends at the movies. I
recently visited Huttopia in Maine with my family, and it was a
great experience.
Community Service
- I have been volunteering at this
organization—which was created by Sal Khan (the founder of Khan
Academy)—since 9th grade. I originally started tutoring the SAT Math
section, and then I advanced into becoming a subworld moderator for
Algebra 1, and then Calculus. Currently I am a community engagement
moderator, and I can plan platform wide events.
- I have also been volunteering at Durga Pujas for the past few
years. I have logged tickets, served food, and given out fliers.

Summer of 2025
I went to Brown Pre-College for a
summer program last summer and studied the course of "Algorithms: The
Theory of Computation" from a mathematical aspect. I made many lifetime
friends that I still text with, even though we may live across the
country from each other. I highly recommend this experience as I
learned a lot, and I had an amazing time.
