Humanities is my second favorite class. So far we've created skits, read a portion of "The Iliad", acted out "The Women of Troy", and wrote several essays. My second essay was about hubris and how it often leads to the downfall of protagonists. My favorite thing about the class is that every week we write a journal for Mr. Ludt. My journals are always a great way for me to talk about anything I need to get off my mind. The book we're reading is not like a typical text book and it approaches subjects in a way that makes them unable to be boring. At the end of every chapter we do key terms.
Other assignments I've done this year:
An essay discussing the works of Joseph Addison.
An essay on Stephen Crane's novel Maggie a Girl of the Streets.
A Portion of a slideshow my group and I did on John Bunyan.
