I decided to apply to the Academy as a hope to be more academically challenged. I was very happy to be accepted into this school and the first term did not disappoint me. The work is extremely egaging, yet beneficial. The work done here is always for a reason and is resourceful in the future.
My first name (Amanda) means worthy of love. My last name (Stevens), rooting in Britain, means crown and is a validator of being victorious.
I'm a very well-rounded person; I enjoy many activies and I am open to anything new. My favorite sports to play are soccer and tennis. I have been drumming for 6 years. Marching band is fun! My childhood consisted of playing games outside, riding my motor scooter around the neighborhood, and perfecting my snowboarding skills in a PlayStation 2 game called SSX tricky. As I reached my teenage years, I gained a love for reading. My favorite author is V.C Andrews. She is a writer of gothic horror and family saga. Her work is not known or enjoyed by many teenagers, but I developed a love for them nonetheless. I also greatly enjoy the Harry Potter series, as do many of my fellow classmates. I like to watch just about any kind of film. However, my interest mostly lies in romantic comedies and movies starring Tom Cruise. Television shows I enjoy watching in my spare time are: That 70's Show, Vampire Diaries, American Horror Story, Supernatural and House. My favorite band is Green Day, but I enjoy any type of music besides rap and hip-hop.
