Our Mission
The GSA is here to provide social support and a voice for WPI students who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning, queer, or straight allies. The GSA shall provide a community for its members and offer social activities, educational programming and a network of support. These include, but are not limited to:

SafeZone
SafeZone is the GSA's Ally Education Program. Since it's start in early 2002, SafeZone trainings have been given to RAs, OLs, students, staff and faculty, and it has been a huge success. The program aims to educate straight allies on issues of being a GLBT student at WPI.

Look for SafeZone stickers around campus (like the sticker on the right). These stickers designate people who have gone through the SafeZone training and are comfortable enough to talk with students about being GLBT.
