I am a junior at Mass Academy It is a great place to be if you are into Math and Science.(Obviously..) But be warned......It is not going to be an easy year if you come here. Get ready for late nights and homework filled weekends. The teachers are really great about hw and understand whatever your situation may be. But otherwise, Mass Academy is a GREAT place to learn new things and make new friends.

Words to live by

• Math Modeling with Mr Barys (He is Awesome). This class will redefine your conception of math.
• Physics with Mr Ellis (He is also awesome) is a great and challengeing physics course which will cause you think outside the box, much like math.
• STEM, which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math, is a research projects which every junior has to complete.
• CS, or Computer Science, is where we learn how to program computers and use them more efficiently using HTML and Racket.
• Humanities is a hybrid of an english class and a history class. The greatest part of this class is the open forum format.Participate and this class will be a great time.
• Language is the standard foreign language class. However, in this class we are taught to focus more on the speaking aspect of our language. The class also doesn't have a textbook, so the students can focus more on interactions.
• STW, which stands for science technical writing, is a class in which students learn the correct method for writing formal papers. This class is closely weaved with STEM in that the students have to write their STEM reports using the tools they learn in STW.
