I do enjoy going to school and learning about what truly interests me. There are many challenges to overcome when learning about a new subject, but through hard work and dedication, anything can be accomplished. Before attending Mass Academy, I was a student at Marianapolis Preparatory School in Thompson, CT. There, I was a member of the dance team and the head of Dance Club. However, I danced for twelve years at the Cathy Taylor School of Dance in Auburn, MA, where I was a member of the competition team. I have learned many dance styles, including ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, and hip hop. If I had the option to take a ballet or tap class, I would definitely choose ballet because it requires tremendous strength, determination, and focus. I am a big fan of Broadway as well. I love any Broadway show, but my favorites are typically musicals. New York City is one of my favorite cities to visit, and I hope to visit again soon to see more Broadway shows! For elementary and middle school, I attended Venerini Academy, a parochial school in Worcester, MA. I enjoyed my time there and at Marianapolis, but I am very happy to be a student at Mass Academy! I jumped up and down the day I got my acceptance letter. It is an amazing opportunity, and it is nothing like I have ever experienced before. I am following in my brother’s footsteps, as he graduated from Mass Academy in 2008. Yes, we have a big age difference! I am currently a member of the Photography Club at Mass Academy. I enjoy community service because it gives me a chance to use my talents to benefit the community. For example, I assist the elderly with their iPads and iPhones. I teach them how to set up their device, how to navigate it, and how to use apps. I love many things, including food, movies, dance, theater, music, and shopping! Some of my favorite movies are The Hunger Games, The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Harry Potter, and The Fault in Our Stars. My favorite TV shows are The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, Bachelor in Paradise, Once Upon a Time, and So You Think You Can Dance (yes, I am a serious Bachelor fan). I love all food, but more importantly, I only consider something dessert if, and only if, it has chocolate. My favorite restaurants are Chick-fil-a, Longhorn Steakhouse, and The Capital Grille. I also love to shop and stay up to date on the latest fashion trends. My favorite store is Lilly Pulitzer, but I also like Vineyard Vines, J.Crew, LOFT, and Vera Bradley. I especially love to shop when items are on sale!
My family and I often travel to Florida, and we visit the Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Studios Orlando. I have probably been to Disney over a hundred times. I consider myself a Disney expert, and I actually have a Disney blog entitled "What Would Walt Say?" Click on this link to check it out! One of my dreams is to become a Disney Imagineer. Who wouldn't want to? If you ever need any information (without actually contacting Disney), I'm the girl to call. I would love to travel to Europe, and I hope to be able to do so soon! I would like to visit England, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Germany, and, eventually, all of Europe!
These are some pictures from Disney World, including a photo of Cinderella Castle and a photo of me (with my Mickey Ears)! The picture on the right is a picture of EPCOT from the 1980s.
