Math is hard. Mr. Barys is a good teacher. We use a program called Mathematica in this class, which can be the most useful tool and the most annoying headache at the same time.
In the beginning of the year, when we were just learning to use Mathematica, we were assigned this rather large lab. Every week or two, we get a problem of the week. Here is an example of a slightly longer POW than usual. Near the end of the year, we had this really long two week POF (Problem of Fortnight) that was quite difficult. While we were learning how to manipulate and plot data in Mathematica, we did this project on basketball points. Finally, here is another POW.
